AI for hair & beauty salons: 24/7 booking, fewer no-shows and more reviews (2026)
Most salons are brilliant at hair but have a site that does not do them justice, and a booking they rent from a marketplace. You can own the whole customer journey yourself — without losing what already works. Here is how, and what actually pays off.
The problem is not the customers — it is everything around it
Salons are often fully booked and have a strong reputation. But the site is old, the booking sits with a third party that charges a fee and owns the customer relationship, and everything around it — reminders, reviews, social media — gets done in the evening or not at all. That is where an AI-driven site makes the difference: it handles the around-it so you can focus on the hair.
What an AI salon site actually does
- Your own booking, around the clock. The customer books from the sofa at 10pm, sees the right free times per stylist, and gets instant confirmation — without calling during your opening hours. You own the booking and the customer data, not a marketplace.
- Reminders that cut no-shows. Automatic SMS and email before the appointment, with easy rescheduling. An empty chair on a colour is pure loss — even a small drop in no-shows is real money.
- Reviews on autopilot. A happy customer is gently nudged to leave a Google review at the right moment, and replying to reviews takes seconds. More fresh Google reviews = more new customers finding you.
- An AI reception that answers. "What do highlights cost?", "do you have time on Saturday?" — answered right on the site, around the clock, guiding the customer to a booking.
- A site that looks like you are worth. Premium, fast, and built so Google and AI find you first for "hairdresser [your town]".
"But our booking is on Bokadirekt"
It is a fair objection, and the answer is not to tear everything out on day one. Your reviews and your visibility on a marketplace are an asset. The smart move is to start owning the direct relationship — your own booking for regulars, your own Google reviews — and let the marketplace keep bringing in new customers meanwhile. You shift the centre of gravity over time; you do not pull the rug out from under yourself.
When you really do not need to switch
If you have the odd gap and are perfectly happy with your current booking, and never want your own reviews or your own site — then what you have is enough, and I would rather say that straight than sell you something. This is for you who are fully booked, have built a reputation, and want to own it instead of renting it.
What it costs
It is built into your site and tailored to your specific salon — how many stylists, which services, and who does what. The fixed prices are listed openly under services. Do not only count the fee: a handful of rescued no-shows a month, plus the new customers a strong Google reputation brings in, usually pays for itself.
Swedish, GDPR, and your data
Everything runs in Swedish, customer data stays within the EU, and it is yours — no customer list locked into someone else. It is the same principle throughout my delivery: the site and the data are yours.
Want to see what it would look like?
I am happy to build a sketch of how your specific salon could look and book — and tell you honestly whether it is worth it for you. Want more on the parts: AI booking system and more Google reviews.
Frequently asked questions
Do we have to leave our current booking?
No. Start owning the direct relationship and your Google reviews, and keep the marketplace for the new-customer flow as long as it delivers. You shift the centre of gravity at your own pace — nothing has to be torn out on day one.
Does the booking work for several stylists with different services?
Yes. The system is set up for your logic — who does what (for example laser only with some), different durations per treatment, and free times per stylist. Two customers can never book the same slot with the same stylist — it is locked at the database level.
Does it really help with no-shows?
Yes. Automatic reminders with easy rescheduling are the simplest and most proven way to reduce no-shows. And a chair freed up in time can be filled by someone else.
What do you need from us to start?
Your services, prices and stylists, and a feel for how you want it to look. I build the rest, and you approve everything before anything goes live.
